Indeed, it seams that the application does not switch itself to a long break !
You can switch yourself to long/short break from the track pane whatever the current pomorodo index is.
You have to remember the current pomorodo index yourself and switch to long break every 4-5-6 pomorodo depending upon your personal taste.
